Learn Animals Pro · Last updated: 22/07/2026
This policy applies to you and Mohibur Rahman, Humble Code, the Developer of Learn Animals Pro, irrespective of your country of residence or location. This Policy describes our privacy practices in plain language, keeping legal and technical jargon to a minimum, so you understand what information is involved when you use the app, why, and the choices you have.
This privacy policy applies to the Learn Animals Pro app. For simplicity, we refer to this as our “service” in this Privacy Policy. When the word “we” is used, it describes the controller of the App and includes the relevant service providers that help us make the service available to you.
We at all times adhere to the strict provisions of the UK’s Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA) and the UK and European General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
Data processing in connection with this app is carried out by:
Mohibur Rahman, Humble Code, the Developer of Learn Animals Pro (hereinafter "Humble Code", "we" or “us”). You can contact us at any time regarding this and other questions on the subject of data protection via email on info@humble-code.com.
We have designed the app so that we ourselves collect as little as possible:
Learn Animals Pro is funded by advertising served through Google AdMob, and by the optional Premium purchase. You are always in control of how advertising works for you:
All advertising in the app is filtered by Google to a family-friendly content rating: nothing above "PG", and no adult, gambling or similar content.
The app uses the Google AdMob service to display ads. In accordance with Google’s own guidance, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect certain information, including:
More detailed information about what data Google collects and how it is processed can be found at: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads.
The optional "Premium — Unlock Everything" purchase is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. Payment is handled entirely within Apple's App Store systems under Apple's privacy policy; we do not receive or store any payment information. Your entitlement is tied to your Apple ID, so you can restore it on any of your devices using "Restore Purchases" in Settings. If you originally bought this app when it was a paid download, the app checks your original App Store receipt (a check performed on your device with Apple) and unlocks Premium automatically — no personal data reaches us in that process.
Learn Animals Pro is a general-audience app enjoyed by families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children ourselves — all learning progress stays on the device. Advertising is restricted to family-friendly content ratings, and personalised advertising only ever operates after an explicit opt-in through the system prompts described above. Parents who prefer an entirely ad-free experience can use the one-time Premium purchase, which disables all advertising technology in the app.
The app can show one optional daily notification with an animal fact. This notification is generated entirely on your device — no information leaves it — and you can decline or disable notifications at any time in your device Settings.
We have no influence on and are not responsible for the collection of data required to download the app from the App Store, e.g., username, email address and customer number of your account and time of download. That collection is governed by Apple's privacy policy, which you can access here: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
We do not sell information that directly identifies you. Advertising data is processed by Google and its certified advertising partners as described in their policies. We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with a legal process, to assist in the prevention or detection of crime, or to protect the safety of any person.
Our advertising provider, Google, is based in the USA, so data it collects may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the UK and EEA. We would like to point out that a level of data protection identical to that in the UK and EU cannot be guaranteed in these countries. We have no influence on these processing activities.
We ourselves retain nothing beyond any correspondence you send us, which we keep only as long as needed to help you. Data collected by Google is retained in accordance with Google's own retention policies.
Please contact us at any time to enforce your rights as a data subject under Art. 15 - 22 GDPR. This includes:
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) is the relevant authority for us (https://ico.org.uk/). We would, however, appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns before you approach the ICO, so please contact us in the first instance.
You can stop all data collection by the app by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall process for your device.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you.
We will amend this privacy policy whenever changes to the app's data processing make it necessary — for instance, changes to how advertising or purchases work. Please check it from time to time.
Any comments or queries on this policy should be directed to us using the contact details provided. If you believe that we have acted otherwise than in accordance with this privacy policy, please notify us.
